Far away, in a misty land
Lives a lady we call hope
Some see her as a guiding hand
Some say she's a dying joke
And the road you choose to take
Shows you what you wanna see
So you find someone to blame
And we sail on newer seas
Kill the boy, a man is born
Waging wars at the break of dawn
Fight a fight when hardest hit
At his worse he will not quit
Tired and tame would always sing
Shattered songs of broken wings
But a wise man once told me and you
The best way out is always through*
Wrecking day, a scary night
To each his own hills to climb
Tune is set, the words are right
But the rhyme is yours to find
To soothe a pain, to stop a cry
For a shelter from the storm
Least to do is hold that hand
And the most, to bring it home

With all respect due to Nick DiSalvo, who is incredibly talented, the proggy vocals are not what I love the most with Elder. What I love the most, I'll admit, is the incredible synthy, krauty goodness, from the track Sonntag on the previous album to the wonderful delving LP Hirschbrunnen. I think these instrumental Sessions were a major step in that direction, and I love them dearly for it. Coraxio
